How does the save function work?

Backline saves your work automatically as you make changes. When you're online, updates sync to the cloud in the background so your data is always backed up. If you lose connection, your changes are stored locally and synced once you're back online. You can also use the save button in some places like invoice to force a manual save at any time. Saving automatically works when you change your view by going to a different route in the app, closing the app or closing the window/PWA so you never lose your work.

Data is stored in Lovable Cloud (Supabase) databases with ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type 2 certifications and encryption at rest.

Go to Settings → Account and use the email change flow. You'll receive a verification code at your new address to confirm.

How do I delete my account?

In Settings → Account, scroll to the Danger Zone to permanently delete your account and all associated data. This cannot be undone.

Can I change or upgrade my plan?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time from your account settings. Upgrading can only mean changing the term of your plan, monthly or yearly, both offer the same benefits and are the same plan but you can save more with yearly. Upgrading takes affect immediately and downgrading takes affect at your next billing date. Any issues, contact support.

Are there any hidden transaction fees?

No. The price you see is the price you pay. We do not charge any hidden transaction fees. Things like VAT are already included in the price you see. There are also no cancellation fees.
